A: Many of the Westmont Living Communities offer the Compass Rose® Memory Care program. This program was designed in cooperation with a nationally recognized gerontologist to guide both residents and their families as we care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other memory impairments. We complete an Individual Care Plan and Life History to assess each residents needs in order to create a well rounded approach including activities, meals, and overall well being. Our goal is to provide a culture that is a life-affirming, meaningful and satisfying, while respecting the choice and dignity of our residents. We believe in sharing the Alzheimer’s journey with residents, family and friends in our Navigator’s Family Support groups. Our Navigator’s Family Support group offers education and the opportunity to share experiences with others.

The cost of utilities and services such as housekeeping, transportation, maintenance and activities are all included in the base rent costs as well as up to 3 meals in our restaurant style dining facilities. Cable television is available at all communities with costs varying by community. Additional charges for residents, who need services such as help bathing or with medication management, will be determined on an individual basis and can be reevaluated at any time.
